Trying to install Solaris 11.2 SRU June 2014 / Cluster 4.2 on ESXI 6.0,
configure shared disks between node1/node2 adjusted SCSI controller (SCSI1), in "physical mode",
![]()
disks create with "eager zeroed thick" option.
![]()
set static option (navigate to Edit Settings > Options > Advanced > General > Configuration Parameters) :
scsi1:0.sharing = "multi-writer"
scsi1:1.sharing = "multi-writer"
scsi1:2.sharing = "multi-writer"
scsi1:3.sharing = "multi-writer"
![]()
"scinstall" , complete installation successfully, but quorum cannot work when restart node1,
in console (node 1) view errors :
1. Registration key of this node is not present on a formerly inaccessible quorum device /dev/did/rdsk/d3s2 (qid=1), a CMM reconfiguration will ensue.
2. Registering reservation key on quorum device /dev/did/rdsk/d3s2 failed with error 2.
My question is whether it is possible to install Solaris Cluster without SAN / iSCSI, directly on the disk located on data storage in ESXI ?
Sorry for my mistake English ! P.S : i try this in my home lab
