Solaris 10 x86 server can't boot after disk0 failure

We've got a IBM xseries box running Solaris 10 x86, which was working fine until disk0 failed. A SVM raid1 set was setup (UFS root fs), so we thought it would be able to boot off the mirror. Unfortunately, it was not made to be bootable. Looks like the guy that built the server forgot to put grub on it.

I've seen articles about how to install grub on a new mirror disk when you are setting it up initially, but can't find anything about whether it'll work on a disk that already has a filesystem on it.

Anyone know how to recover from this?

Thanks in advance.
